On our second day in the Highlands, we hiked the famous Ben Nevis hike. This hike, spanning over 10 miles, involves an elevation gain of more than 4,400 feet, with nearly all of it occurring within the first 5 miles. Scotland: Keswick to Glencoe, and a whole lot in-between
On this eventful day, we began in Keswick and traveled to Glasgow, where we took a morning walking tour and savored some excellent Indian cuisine. Afterward, we got into our car and drove to Loch Lomond for a one-hour boat tour on the Loch. We then continued to the small town of Luss, where we wandered through its charming Scottish streets. Finally, we concluded the day by heading to Glencoe, arriving just as the sun was setting over the stunning Three Sisters.
