TIP: Uganda requires a yellow fever vaccine. For our area, these were hard to find so search this out several months in advance of your trip.
TIP: Uganda and Kenya combine their visas into one but Tanzania has a separate travel visa process. Print everything out in advance and have it handy on arrival.
TIP: Come prepared with the right hiking equipment. Red ants and thorny bushes will make your life miserable otherwise.
TIP: If we had to do this again, we may have traded Zanzibar for Diani Beach.
TIP: We used Nkuringo Safari for Uganda and Duma Explorer for Tanzania and Kenya. We highly recommend booking through these two companies.
