Oh Italy. How we loved you. The food, culture, and beautiful architecture and landscapes were unforgettable. Italy's cliff-side towns on the Mediterranean Sea are the subject of countless books and movies for good reason. As history buffs, we especially enjoyed the museums of Florence, Venice, and Milan.
This trip will always hold a special place in our heart as it was the first big international trip with our kids. From then on, as a family, we were hooked. We visited just Northern regions but we do hope to return to visit the Southern regions. We did not get enough bread, cannoli, pasta, gelato and wine, even though admittedly, we had each of these basically every day.
